Honorable death through the lens of legendary Japanese 19th century artist, Utagawa Kunikazu. Although not in all cases, Seppuku, or "self-disembowelment", was performed when capture was inevitable, to avoid falling into the hands of the enemy and being tortured. This ritual act of taking one’s own life was thought to be a definitive demonstration of a samurai’s courage, strong resolve, and self-control, for seppuku is an extremely painful, slow way to die. It showed a true samurai’s sincerity of purpose.

While the back of the tee features Kunikazu's XL Woodblock print, the front features characters for "Seppuku", surrounded by 2 slits, representing the stroked cuts when Samurai performed the ritual.

Each heavyweight garment is made from 100% Combed Cotton and features an athletic fit. Designed in Hawai'i. Made and printed in Los Angeles, California.

*Model is 5'11" 185 lbs and wearing a size Large.
