The birth of TTWD arrived as somewhat of an accident. Six months after receiving my Black Belt, a torn ACL and herniated cervical disc left me bed ridden with doctors telling me to “find a new hobby.” Turns out finding a new hobby was never part of the plan. It’s Train Till We Die and nothing else. The only way out is in a box.

Each windbreaker is made from a lightweight water resistant 82gm 100% polyester. Official TTWD logos are screen printed on the front and back. Printed in Los Angeles, California. True to size. Full fit.

The Vanilla Gorilla Batch

Dreamed up between training sessions under blue skies in Tahiti, these bacteria-beaters from the south pacific rainforest come loaded with hand-gathered ingredients known to aid grapplers.

The Vanilla Gorilla Batch is infused with three ingredients, in particular, that are directly sourced from farms on both Tahiti and Moorea; the vitamin rich Tahitian Vanilla Extract, Mono'i Oil (Tiare flowers steeped in extra-virgin coconut oil), and Tamanu Oil (extracted from a Polynesian nut used to treat wounds, and prevent infection).

The Kaminari Batch

"Kaminari" means "thunder & lightning" and it was a name that stuck while we were visiting farms and Jiu Jitsu academies between a drizzly Tokyo and Kyoto.

Purifying Yuzu juice and detoxifying Sasanishiki rice water are blended with an anti-fungal combo of Japanese bamboo charcoal and Tsubaki oil. Each bar also contains Matcha Tea Powder sourced from the Ippudo Tea farm in Kyoto. Matcha Tea is a natural antibiotic and rich in Chlorophyll which naturally stimulates the wound healing process. Crushed Sakura (cherry blossoms) and Green Tea leaves are added to gently exfoliate your skin.

The Cornelius Concoction

Our hybrid version of a super-powered African Black Soap dedicated to one of Jiu Jitsu's greatest American athletes, Keenan Cornelius.

This bar is infused with rare Manuka oil, which can only be found on the east cape of New Zealand’s North Island and has 20-30 times more bacterial/fungal fighting properties than Australian Tea Tree oil. The soap is made black with the ash of Cacao Pods and Plantain peels.
