Our latest after-training creation is a high-octane healing salve inspired by the physical trauma our bodies endure in hard day-to-day training.

“War Wounds” combines a meticulously-sourced spectrum of all-natural, anti-inflammatory + wound healing root extracts (Angelica sinensis, Polygonum multiflorum, Achyranthes bidentata, Panax ginseng, Cortex moutan, Salvia miltiorrhiza, Ledebouriella divaricata) in a Beeswax base. 200mg of USA-grown Hemp Extract is then blended in with a hand-picked, premium-grade blend of oils (Australian Tea Tree, Orange, Hemp, Bergamot, Almond, Avocado, and Lavender) to create a muscle-soothing, skin-rejuvenating, infection-fighting super spread to remedy the skin ailments of all martial artists alike.

The Serengeti Yeti Batch

Introducing a Yeti-sized brick of fungus-fighting glycerine as dark as a moonless night in Tanzania; a soap bar that is truly unique in the realm of Jiu Jitsu, where the Arctic converges with Africa. Our 25th After-Training soap batch has taken more than a year to develop.

We start by using the traditional and time-consuming method of making African Black Soap. This involves roasting Cocoa Pods and Plantain Peels to produce ash, which lends the soap its dark color. Hydrating Cocoa Butter and Shea Butter are then generously heaped in.

Each monster block of soap is then supercharged with a powerful blend of four oils: Australian Tea Tree, Lemongrass, Arctic Peppermint, and Comfrey, which work together to eliminate mat-born bacteria. Inspired by ancient Viking medical practices for wound healing, Comfrey Oil and Yarrow Flower are generously loaded in every bar.

High-Mountain Honey was then drizzled in. A nectar renowned globally for its antibacterial qualities, various warrior cultures of the past, including the Romans, Greeks, Egyptians, and Knights, utilized this adaptable sweet substance to safeguard wounds from infection.

Every Yeti bar was rounded off with touch of organic Licorice Powder, which was commonly used in the Middle Ages to calm irritated skin. We also tossed in a dash of Activated Coconut Charcoal Powder to help remove impurities while a heavy pour of Coconut Oil offers bountiful rehydration to skin. Ground Walnut Shells were finally sprinkled in to exfoliate away any dead skin acquired during heavy training.

This soothing serum was dreamed up in a jacuzzi in early 2018 after a long week of open guard specific training. A stiff neck, soar fingers, and balled-up forearm muscles left us plotting what a simpler method of recovery could be.

Enter - "Spider Guard Serum" - an all natural roll-on gel, 100% formulated and lab-tested in San Diego, California to aid us from the minor injuries that we procur from hard rounds day in and day out. “GrappleSauce” is our latest After-Training creation - a juicy fungus-fighting concoction inspired by our need to clean our hair and scalp more than once a day after multiple training sessions.

This Organic Apple Cider Vinegar-based liquid was designed to avoid over-shampooing while providing a gentle cleanse that will not strip hair of natural oils. Our pure ACV base helps to seal hair cuticles, hence adding shine while helping to balance your hairs PH levels. ACV also helps to gently exfoliate the scalp and unclog hair follicles as naturally as possible.

We’ve also added in our trusted blend of Organic Tea Tree Oil and Organic Lavender Oil to give “GrappleSauce” an extra boost of bacteria + fungus-fighting capabilities along with Macadamia Nut Oil to rehydrate the hair and scalp during the cleansing process. We also added in Aloe Vera Juice which also contributes to promoting a healthy PH balance of the hair, scalp, and skin, preventing potential infections due to an unhealthy balance all while locking in moisture.

Bringing together two arts that have been apart of our lives since youth, the inspiration for our 33rd business suit was derived from the intrusive thoughts during solo surf sessions - wondering if the "tax man" might be hovering below. Meanwhile, throughout the year when the IRS comes knocking, it’s impossible to ignore the other certainty of life.

Famously quoted by Ben Franklin in 1789, "Nothing is certain except death and taxes", that statement still rings true to this day. Unavoidable and unfortunate as it is, we still gotta do what we gotta do to enjoy this short life...so we keep doing what we love every day.

Each business suit was meticulously detailed with black mountains around each jacket skirt while the jaws of the “landlord” rest above each knee. Black Mountain Surf Wax insignia was carefully embroidered around this heavy duty suit while our signature TTWD inside screen printing and AB logos rest in their original strong holds.

Jacket is made from a high-quality, pre-shrunk 450gram Pearl Weave Cotton material with a 10 oz. twill cotton skirt featuring single needle black mountain embroidery. It features a durable, rubberized, Ripstop collar with T3 stitching throughout.

Pants are made from an ultra-lightweight 10oz Twill Cotton with 6-point pant loop system and T3 stitching on all seams of pants and branded taping inside cuffs. Pre-shrunk to minimize shrinkage.

The entire inside of the suit including arms and legs feature TTWD screen printing throughout. Our signature Arm Bar logo is embroidered on sides of Jacket and Pants in a light grey contrast thread. Each suit includes a transport bag equipped with a velcro seal and handle, designed after vintage Japanese rice bags.

The Sand Bar - Batch 1

This translucent, lagoon-blue powerhouse was inspired by the clear Hawaiian waters we play in, the tropical rainfall we depend on, and the Jiu Jitsu mats we frequent. We tapped in The Arm Bar Soap Co., purveyors of high-level, all-natural bacteria-fighting soap, to craft this batch for us. This product is ideal for ocean dwellers + Jiu Jitsu players alike.

In fact, the same rain that flourishes the land subsequently opens the rivers, streams, and drain systems which can lead to both agricultural + urban runoff, sewage spills, and overflows which can contain harmful infection-causing bacteria - a realm we are all too familiar with at Arm Bar.

Each and every bar comes infused with a supercharged, organic, bacteria-destroying blend of Australian Tea Tree Oil, Maui Lavender Oil, Laukahi Extract, and Sandalwood Oil. For years we’ve wanted to create a bar encompassing the spirit of fall and there feels like no better time than Halloween.

The air temps have dropped and it takes an extra round or two to warm up every train. Jack-o-lanterns sit atop most porches these days and so we decided to go heavy on the Pumpkin Powder and Cinnamon Powder spices giving our latest After-Training creation - “The Sarcophagus Scrub Batch” - it’s unique autumn scent.

This mummy-wrapped, Gi-clad, glowing orange bacteria and fungus-fighter comes jam-packed with our signature Australian Tea Tree Oil to which we joined it’s antibacterial forces with antiviral Organic Witch Hazel, which works dually as an astringent while warding off potential infection. Cinnamon Oil was also trickled into each bar due to numerous studies showing the undeniable bacteria and fungus-killing benefits of this sweet-scented bark’s liquid extract.

We then add in a healthy dose of vitamin and antioxidant-rich ingredients like Wolf Berry Extract + Blackberry Extract to stop free-radicals that can damage skin cells while calming and soothing naturally as they’re absorbed into the skin.

Kaolin Clay is a brand new ingredient we incorporated into this batch - a miracle powder that absorbs excess oils without stripping the skin of its natural oils. Because of its unique molecular structure, Kaolin Clay has the ability to absorb deep-seated impurities like dirt and mat grime, providing a deep-clean after a day of hard training.

This limited-edition spooky Black belt is finally finished off with a heavy moisturizing dollop of organic Shea Butter + Coconut Oil to rehydrate and revitalize skin after our deep-cleansing ingredients have done their dirty work. We are proud to introduce V31 of our Business Suit collection - the second-coming of heavy duty Business suits created with an entirely new weave that was commonly found in 90's gi's - the gold weave. Each suit is adorned with glistening golden wolf patches, embroideries, and signature stitch tags throughout. As always, each suit is made from a premium 100% cotton.

Jacket is made from a high-quality, pre-shrunk 450gram Gold Weave 100% Cotton material. It features a durable, rubberized, Ripstop collar with T3 stitching and branded taping inside lapel and cuffs. The arms of each jacket features a very slight taper.

Pants are made from an ultra-lightweight 10oz Twill Cotton with 6-point pant loop system and T3 stitching on all seams of pants and 450 GSM gold weave gusset. Pre-shrunk to minimize shrinkage.

The entire inside of the suit including arms and legs feature our signature TTWD screen printing specially done in Gold ink throughout the entire garment. Each suit includes a sublimated mesh transport bag equipped with a velcro seal and handle, designed after vintage Japanese rice bags.
