“The Eastern Hunter” - Version 35 of our Business Suit collection and Part 3 of our Hunting Suit series.

This edition features 10oz twill cotton pants and a 450gsm jacket, with single-needle embroidered Kalo (taro) leaves - a symbol deeply tied to Kaua’i - woven across the full twill cotton skirt.

The inspiration for this suit dates back to 2001 on the East side of Oʻahu. I was just a kid at Gracie Jiu Jitsu Kailua. Honestly, my dad had to drag me to class - all I wanted was to surf and skate. But he said, “One day you’re gonna get into a fight, and you better know Jiu Jitsu.”

My first Gi was a raw, unbleached Atama — the only kind Jason Izaguirre sold at the time. This suit is a tribute to that first step, and to the joy I feel watching my oldest son take his.

Jacket is made from a high-quality, pre-shrunk 450gram Pearl Weave Cotton material with a 10 oz. twill cotton skirt featuring single needle Kalo embroidery. It features a durable, rubberized, Ripstop collar with T3 stitching and branded taping inside lapel and cuffs.

We swapped out our signature TTWD inner prints, added 30 GSM to the jackets, changed the inner taping, and created a fresh patch work.

Designed specifically for competition due to its feather weight (approx. 2lb 12oz for an A1), each suit is laden with classically understated monotone details.

Jacket is made from high-quality, pre-shrunk 380GSM Pearl Weave 100% Cotton material. It features a durable, rubberized, Ripstop collar with T3 stitching.

Pants are made from an Extremely-lightweight 8oz Twill Cotton with 6-point pant loop system and T3 stitching on all seams of pants and inside cuffs. We've added elastic waistbands on each side of the hip for reliable support during competing.

We’ve re-imagined our classic No Gi Kits in a fall palette built for the darker skies, cooler temps, and falling leaves ahead.

Each pair of shorts is crafted from an ultra-stretchy + durable Polyester/Lycra™ blend. We've removed the velcro panel in front to avoid scratchiness and added in an ultra-soft, plush inner waistband which adds comfort and allows the shorts to stay secure without being too tight.

Each premium pair was designed in Hawai'i and made entirely in Los Angeles, California. With an outseam of 18", they sit just above the knee and feature a scalloped Dolphin Hem for ultimate maneuverability. This specific cut was developed to feature a slightly tapered fit and includes flat lock stitching around all edges so there is no movement restriction.
