A few weeks ago, I had the chance to train with someone I’ve looked up to for 25 years. One of the greatest of all time had just opened an academy in my hometown, and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity. We rolled for two hours, and while the energy and technique were unforgettable, my biggest takeaway came afterward — just sitting around, talking about how Jiu Jitsu has been, and always will be, one of the most fulfilling parts of our lives.
When we first started making clothes, “Jiu Jitsu” was always front and center. Over the years, I pulled back a bit, thinking our supporters already knew what we stood for. But that one training session reminded me: those two words are the most important in my vocabulary.
