Originally designed after a vintage movie poster from the 60's, we've brought back this design for a limited time for the 2025 Jiu Jitsu Expo. The back of the tee speaks to the nostalgic journey that Jiu Jitsu brings, the love we have for it, and the duty we as a company aim to fulfill to for our community. Whether you just started training or have been a black belt for years, the vision remains the same...TTWD. No Jiu Jitsu. No Life.
Each tee is made using a 100% combed ring spun cotton and features a regular fit. Made entirely is Los Angeles, CA.

Another powerful vintage photo of some of the last true Samurais served as the inspiration for this garment. Meaning "Clan" in Japanese, the Ichizoku in the photo feels close to the photos we take with our Jiu Jitsu family after we go to war with one another. The right chest says Fall 1867 as this year was the final year of Feudal Japan and the end of the Edo Period.

The origins of daishō, was around the Momoyama period, the final portion of the Sengoku era, a time of warlordism in Japan during the 1500–1600s. Translating to "big & little", Samurai would wear a typical long sword (katana) alongside a shorter one (tanto or wakizashi) for use at closer range.
These two hand drawn swords were hand drawn by 3rd degree Jiu Jitsu Black belt, Sam Kressin, and our signature "Train Till We Die" kanji was hand painted by a professional Japanese artist specially for this collection.

The birth of TTWD arrived as somewhat of an accident. Six months after receiving my Black Belt, a torn ACL and herniated cervical disc left me bed ridden with doctors telling me to “find a new hobby.” Turns out finding a new hobby was never part of the plan. It’s Train Till We Die and nothing else. The only way out is in a box.
Made from 100% super-soft organic cotton. Made + designed + printed in Los Angeles, California. True to size.
