The 22nd version of our limited edition Business Suits - "White Gladiator" - a second chapter of a suit that was inspired by the gladiator days of Ancient Rome and the nostalgia of the most coveted tournament in No Gi Jiu Jitsu. Each suit is laden with gold, red, and white details on a white canvas and slightly tapered sleeves. The crowning detail of the suit is a large sublimated back patch of "Pollice Verso" (meaning 'with a turned thumb') painting by artist Jean-Lèon Gèrôme from 1872. Members of the audience signal to the victorious gladiator to give no mercy to the fallen gladiator and take his life. Some were born to fight. Others were born to watch.

Version #21 of our limited edition Business Suits has arrived and is one of our favorite suits by far. Designed specifically for competition due to its feather weight (approx. 2lb 12oz for an A1), each suit is laden with classic monotone details and slightly tapered sleeves. Inspired by the monsters that roam the mountains of our homeland and the Kalo (Taro) fields that are synonymous with Kaua'i. We used to only do it for ourselves. Now we pass it on. It's an incredible experience, falling in love with Jiu Jitsu all over again through the eyes of the next generation. 

As I reminisce, I can't help but think about the times when I would train twice a day and dedicate hours to drilling on the weekends. Those moments hold a special place in my heart and remain some of my most cherished memories. Body sore all the time but always wanting more. A decade later, I continue to get it in all week, though not quite as often as I used to.

Most days it’s just me and my boys messing around in the garage gym, seeing how long they can stay on my back. But seeing their eyes light up when they throw their Gis on and learn something new generates a feeling within me that I can’t quite explain yet. 

Nonetheless, I had to create some special business suits for my youngest, who is about to embark on his own journey. Each suit is made from a heavy-duty 10oz. 100% Twill Cotton with triple stitched reinforced seams.

Influenced originally by a vintage USA Wrestling shirt from the 90's, these mid-weight, ultra soft cotton/polyester blend fleece pullover sweatshirts feature a regular fit and unique vintage character accomplished through a full garment dying process. Each piece features a hand-stitched embroidered flag on the chest. 100% made and Printed in Los Angeles, California. Designed in Hawai'i.

These fitted shorts come in our signature "TTWD SPORT" competition fit - made from an Ultra-Stretchy + equally comfortable Lycra™ material with hemmed in panels to hug legs. All logos are sublimated. There is an inner drawstring for easy waist adjustment.

The third arrival of our limited edition Business Suits, a project originally slated to never be released to the public.  We are proud to release 200 pure white “Business Suits” into the wild; each personally hand-numbered and dated. Each suit is laden with subtle white-on-white cross-stitched indented details, contrast taping, and slightly tapered sleeves.. If you get your hands on one, we hope it sees many wars.

Jacket is made from a high-quality, pre-shrunk 550gram Pearl Weave 100% Cotton material. It features a durable, rubberized, Ripstop collar with T3 stitching and branded taping inside lapel and cuffs.  

Pants are made from an ultra-lightweight 10oz Twill Cotton with 6-point pant loop system and T3 stitching on all seams of pants and branded taping inside cuffs. Pre-shrunk to minimize shrinkage.

The entire inside of the suit features black TTWD screen printing throughout which is slightly visible from the outside and becomes more apparent the more you sweat in it.  Our signature company trademarks are embroidered on sides of Jacket and Pants in white. Each suit includes a transport bag equipped with a velcro seal and handle, designed after vintage Japanese rice bags.

As we witness the arrival of the 2022 Mundials, we pay homage to the first-ever Jiu Jitsu World Championships held in 1996 that took place on the signature green and yellow mats of the Tijuca Tênis Clube. 

We reimagined our company logos in 8-bit graphics and present them in 2 No-Gi kits - one directly dedicated to Tijuca and the other in a classic Arm Bar color way rendition.

The 2021 Hybrid version of our highly-anticipated No Gi shorts have finally arrived.

The All-Terrain-Flex™️ Signature Logo No Gi collection arrives at the tail end of a 4-month run of countless samples to source the best material and achieve the ideal fit we found in a premium No Gi training kit.

Each pair of shorts is crafted from an ultra-stretchy + durable Polyester/Lycra™ blend. We've removed the velcro panel in front to avoid scratchiness and added in an ultra-soft, plush inner waistband which adds comfort and allows the shorts to stay secure without being too tight.  

Each premium pair was designed in Hawai'i and made in California.  With an outseam of 16.5", they sit just above the knee and feature a scalloped Dolphin Hem for ultimate maneuverability.

Our premier Sherpa Vest was carefully crafted using a hand-knitted, custom-dyed Woodland Camouflage Berber Fleece fabric and comes lined with a soft, micro-fleece interior. Each vest comes fitted with full-front zips, frontal pockets and is adorned with "Train Till We Die" in a custom Olde English arched over the back and an embroidered TTWD logo behind the collar. Smooth, elastic enclosures round off the ends of each sleeve and body of the vest.
