Why Armbar? The Secret Ingredents That Make Armbar Magic!
THE POWER OF THE INGREDIENTS
Tea Tree oil is often referred to as "liquid gold" in the holistic healing community because its anti-microbial and anti-fungal properties are unmatched by any other natural healing product. It has been proven to disinfect and prevent such skin ailments as ringworm, acne, athlete's foot, dandruff, and most importantly, the dreaded Staph infection. It's almost as if this oil was specifically put on this earth to protect and heal the combat athlete. Hmmm...
Eucalyptus Oil was added to promote quick healing of infected wounds as well as reduce any skin inflammations such as "mat burn" that combat athletes are very familiar with. With its pleasant earthy aroma, Eucalyptus oil also behaves as an all-natural deodorant.
Lemongrass Oil helps give The Arm Bar it's light citrusy scent. It has been used for centuries as an all-natural antibacterial, antimicrobial, and antiseptic preventative for the growth of disease-causing microorganisms. When applied to the skin, it has also been proven to aid in muscle strains which are common with combat athletes.
Bergamot Oil is derived from a tropical, citrus fruit and combines very nicely with the Lemon Grass oil to give The Arm Bar it's unique scent. It also has many antibiotic properties that help to cease the growth of viruses and fungus affecting the skin. In addition, along with its ability to eliminate body odor, this oil also aids in protecting wounds from infection and speeding up the healing process of existing ones.
Peppermint Oil is the ingredient within The Arm Bar that begins the entire treatment process. It's menthol properties get the skin to "breathe" after a long training session. This allows all of the other healing oils to flow freely into the pores and start doing work on whatever nasty organisms you picked up during your sweaty training session.
Walnut Shell Bits are ground into bits and used to help exfoliate away dead skin.
Steel-cut Oats are ground into crumbs and evenly distributed throughout each bar to aid in the exfoliating dead skin.
Lavender Oil is sourced on the island of Maui, this amazing oil was infused into our first ever "Hawaiian Batch". Used for centuries as an all-natural pain & stress reliever, an antiseptic for scrapes & scratches, and an antibiotic against skin infections, Lavender oil is the perfect match with grapplers and all combat athletes alike.
Noni Juice is ideal for grapplers - the juice and pulp of the Noni fruit were traditionally used in Polynesian culture to promote quick healing of bruises, scrapes, and boils. It's strong Antifungal and Antiseptic properties make it a perfect ingredient for disinfecting scratches picked up during hard sparring.
Kukui Nut Oil is used to treat ailments such as burns and cuts and also believed to promote the healing of Psoriasis and Eczema symptoms. It's primary purpose in The Arm Bar will be to nourish and moisturize the skin after the other oils have run their course through the pores.
Kona Coffee Grounds are crafted into our "Hawaiian Batch" to behave as an exfoliant and polish out dead skin. In addition, the caffeine in the coffee grounds also acts as Vasodilator which constricts blood vessels, allowing the skin to nicely tighten - reducing the appearance of things like cellulite and varicose veins.
