Six months after receiving my Black Belt, a torn ACL and herniated cervical disc left me bed ridden with doctors telling me to “find a new hobby.” Turns out finding a new hobby was never part of the plan. It’s Train Till We Die and nothing else. The only way off this Jiu Jitsu ride is in a box.

The Sand Bar - Batch 1

This translucent, lagoon-blue powerhouse was inspired by the clear Hawaiian waters we play in, the tropical rainfall we depend on, and the Jiu Jitsu mats we frequent. We tapped in The Arm Bar Soap Co., purveyors of high-level, all-natural bacteria-fighting soap, to craft this batch for us. This product is ideal for ocean dwellers + Jiu Jitsu players alike.

In fact, the same rain that flourishes the land subsequently opens the rivers, streams, and drain systems which can lead to both agricultural + urban runoff, sewage spills, and overflows which can contain harmful infection-causing bacteria - a realm we are all too familiar with at Arm Bar.

Each and every bar comes infused with a supercharged, organic, bacteria-destroying blend of Australian Tea Tree Oil, Maui Lavender Oil, Laukahi Extract, and Sandalwood Oil. This mixture is fortified with a heaping dose of hydrating ingredients sourced across the island chain - organic Kukui Nut Oil from O’ahu, Mangosteen Extract from the Big Island, and Honey from the island of Kaua’i. The vitamin-rich Kukui Nut Oil and Mangosteen work to strengthen the skin barrier with rich fatty acids and Xanthones while the Honey offers anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory benefits; meanwhile all work congruently to soothe and relieve sun-damaged skin. If that wasn’t enough, we then layered in a bountiful amount of Aloe Vera Butter + Avocado Oil for their high levels of Vitamin E and anti-oxidants. This deep-cleansing monster is finished off with soothing Alaea sea salt from the west side of Kaua’i, magnesium-rich Chlorella powder (which lends itself to the color of the soap bar), and finally sprinkled with ground Apricot Seed “Sand” to aid in gently exfoliating away any dead skin acquired during training or surfing.

For years we’ve wanted to create a bar encompassing the spirit of fall and there feels like no better time than Halloween.

The air temps have dropped and it takes an extra round or two to warm up every train. Jack-o-lanterns sit atop most porches these days and so we decided to go heavy on the Pumpkin Powder and Cinnamon Powder spices giving our latest After-Training creation - “The Sarcophagus Scrub Batch” - it’s unique autumn scent.

This mummy-wrapped, Gi-clad, glowing orange bacteria and fungus-fighter comes jam-packed with our signature Australian Tea Tree Oil to which we joined it’s antibacterial forces with antiviral Organic Witch Hazel, which works dually as an astringent while warding off potential infection. Cinnamon Oil was also trickled into each bar due to numerous studies showing the undeniable bacteria and fungus-killing benefits of this sweet-scented bark’s liquid extract.

We then add in a healthy dose of vitamin and antioxidant-rich ingredients like Wolf Berry Extract + Blackberry Extract to stop free-radicals that can damage skin cells while calming and soothing naturally as they’re absorbed into the skin.

Kaolin Clay is a brand new ingredient we incorporated into this batch - a miracle powder that absorbs excess oils without stripping the skin of its natural oils. Because of its unique molecular structure, Kaolin Clay has the ability to absorb deep-seated impurities like dirt and mat grime, providing a deep-clean after a day of hard training.

This limited-edition spooky Black belt is finally finished off with a heavy moisturizing dollop of organic Shea Butter + Coconut Oil to rehydrate and revitalize skin after our deep-cleansing ingredients have done their dirty work. Organic Pumpkin Seeds are finally ground up and sprinkled heavily in each bar, adding a solid grit and “scrub” to our Sarcophagus Batch to exfoliate any dead skin acquired during heavy training.

We are proud to introduce V31 of our Business Suit collection - the second-coming of heavy duty Business suits created with an entirely new weave that was commonly found in 90's gi's - the gold weave. Each suit is adorned with glistening golden wolf patches, embroideries, and signature stitch tags throughout. As always, each suit is made from a premium 100% cotton.

Jacket is made from a high-quality, pre-shrunk 450gram Gold Weave 100% Cotton material. It features a durable, rubberized, Ripstop collar with T3 stitching and branded taping inside lapel and cuffs. The arms of each jacket features a very slight taper.

Pants are made from an ultra-lightweight 10oz Twill Cotton with 6-point pant loop system and T3 stitching on all seams of pants and 450 GSM gold weave gusset. Pre-shrunk to minimize shrinkage.

The entire inside of the suit including arms and legs feature our signature TTWD screen printing specially done in Gold ink throughout the entire garment. Each suit includes a sublimated mesh transport bag equipped with a velcro seal and handle, designed after vintage Japanese rice bags.

The 20th version of our limited edition Business Suits and the 3rd version of our Hunter Suit series. Inspired by the monsters that roam the mountains of our homeland and the Kalo (Taro) fields that are synonymous with Kaua'i. Each suit is laden with red dirt, white, and maroon details on a black canvas, camouflage inside taping, and slightly tapered sleeves

Red dirt colored accents make up most of the suits patch work, embroideries, and inside screen prints as this iron-rich red soil, which can be found across all of the Hawaiian Islands, is a special signature of the west side of Kaua’i.

Jacket is made from a high-quality, pre-shrunk 450gram Pearl Weave Cotton material with a 10 oz. twill cotton skirt featuring single needle Kalo embroidery. It features a durable, rubberized, Ripstop collar with T3 stitching and branded taping inside lapel and cuffs.

Pants are made from an ultra-lightweight 10oz Twill Cotton with 6-point pant loop system and T3 stitching on all seams of pants and branded taping inside cuffs. Pre-shrunk to minimize shrinkage.

The entire inside of the suit including arms and legs feature "Red Dirt" TTWD screen printing throughout. Our signature Arm Bar logo is embroidered on sides of Jacket and Pants in a light grey contrast thread.
