Introducing our 100% carded cotton heavyweight long sleeves featuring a collage of half-toned screenprinted images devoted to the Violent History of our world, some dating back to the Ancient Greek times of Hercules wrestling Antaeus. The large images on the back are of the Coliseum, the famous Roman amphitheater that featured bloody battles for the people’s amusement dating back to 72 AD. Above, a painting of a traditional Viking burial where bodies are pushed out to see on a burning ship, as Vikings believed the fire's smoke would help carry thedeceased to Valhalla. Each sleeve features paintings and photos of violence, the right side featuring a photo of a legendary bare fist no-holds-barred fight from the early 80’s in Brazil. The other sleeve features a painting of a legendary Hawaiian war that occurred on the Island of O’ahu. The side art over the seams features a photo of some of the last samurai from the Edo Period in Japan, a vintage Judo image, and a photo of the longest boxing matches in history from 1913.
Each piece was designed, made, and printed in Los Angeles, CA, and features a relaxed fit, cuffed sleeves, and slightly split side seams.
