Printed on a premium heavyweight handcrafted ring spun cotton 3-end fleece garment and made entirely in L.A., we proudly introduce "The Fury of Achilles" Hoodie, part 1 of a 2 piece set and created to honor the great mythological warrior of Greece - Achilles. A soldier so mighty and thought to be a descendant of the Gods, Achilles famously led his army into the battle of Troy where he slayed Troy's most celebrated hero, Hector.
Featuring a giant, half-tone graphic on the front taken from the famous statue of wounded Achilles in the garden of Achillion palace in Corfu, Greece. Each pocket was removed by hand to make room for the print then carefully double-stitched back on after printing. Above this print a TTWD black on black embroidered patch was sewn over the right chest and a black on black AB was screenprinted over the heart. Each hoodie features our company logo embroidered near the neck of the hood.
The large back print features the work of Charles-Antoine Coypel, painted in 1737, and is entitled "The Fury of Achilles". In response to his best friend, Patroclus, being murdered by Hector of Troy, the famed warrior stampedes forward to avenge his fallen brother. Achilles is seen in the center of the painting with a bloodthirst look in his eyes while the other characters in the painting attempt to console and restrain him. He stands on the body of someone he’s already slain and now is advancing his way towards his next victim. To do this painting justice, each hoodie was caefully DTG printed in Los Angeles and framed in an elegant gold frame similar to the style you would likely view original art work in at The Louvre.
